Glasses

I got a pair of new glasses over Labor Day weekend. I've noticed that my vision seemed to be getting worse, so I self-diagnosed myself as having cataracts. Then I inspected my new glasses only to discover that the lens seemed to be bubbling. I took the glasses back, and the lens coating is defective. I'm wearing my old glasses and I can see again!

Babies

When someone is expecting a baby, family and friends love to sit and guess what the sex of the child will be. I sets of a pandemic itself of baby fever. My daughter Candice is expecting a baby boy in February. My nephew's wife is al due in that time frame, but they don't know what kind of baby they are having yet. I'll keep you posted!

Back from California

One week ago Mike and I were standing on the beach enjoying the Pacific Ocean. It was breathtaking! It was good to come home again, but I still long to sit on the beach and watch the waves.

Happy Halloween

I'm Going to Be a Grandma

Candice and Chris are expecting a baby in February. Candice is now doing her part to make sure the baby has good nutrition while growing .... pickles and ice cream!

A New Family Member

Buddy is the latest addition to our family of "Must Love Dogs". Dan has waited quite awhile to get a puppy or to be living where he could have a pet. We met Buddy on Saturday and he is a cutie!

Is it really June?

It is cold, wet, and rainy today. The thermometer says that it is 44 degrees out. When will I get to complain about it being too hot?
